2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe This is a well documented 996 with a solid service history and all of the important and expensive maintenance items done. The previous owner used it as his daily driver for 10 years and was meticulous about maintenance. I acquired the car in April and promptly completed a major service to address the potentially fatal IMS bearing issue typical in all 1999-2004 911's. It is important to note that inspection of the old IMS bearing showed that is was intact and still functioning which is evidence of the previous owners attention to proper engine service. We fitted a new LN Engineering IMS bearing and completed several other important major service items. Replaced within the last several months: IMS Bearing Retrofit by LN Engineering which is the recognized best fix for this important issue New Air-Oil Separator (AOS) New Rear Main Seal (RSM) New complete Clutch Kit This 996 comes complete with many of the preferred and hard to find options. The Aerokit on this car is the factory installed XAA option "GT-3 Look" kit unlike many 996's that have dealer or aftermarket kits. The wheels are factory-installed optional BBS Sport Classic 2 that have been refinished in an updated color similar to the new 991 Porsche wheels. The headlights are factory option "Litronics" HID's. I upgraded the factory radio to a Kenwood AM/FM/ SiriusXM/ Bluetooth/Pandora/ Speakerphone with a small subwoofer to modernize the sound and convenience of driving the car. The factory radio is included as well. I am selling the car because I need the cash for a house remodel. This car spent most of it's life as a daily commuter from one small town to another in rural South Carolina. It's never been tracked or driven hard and needs very little to be perfect.
